The survey is open to all Essex residents and visitors to have their say and raise any public safety concerns or issues affecting the safety of women and girls, with a focus on location and public places.
Although aimed specifically at women and girls in the county, we welcome and encourage feedback from anyone who has experienced gender-based violence, abuse or harassment in the county, including men and non-binary people.
Use our interactive map to tell us about a specific place in Southend, Essex and Thurrock where and why you feel unsafe.
Add your email address to receive an update on the next steps when the survey has closed.
Your feedback will allow us to better understand concerns, perceptions and experiences, and focus our collective efforts to tackle women’s safety in public spaces.
Please note that this website is not monitored daily and is not for the purpose of reporting crime.
